Committees

The Faculty Council decides on all matters of fundamental importance to the faculty:
- the structural and developmental plans of the faculty,
- the formation, modification and dissolution of faculty institutions,
- the study and examination regulations of the faculty, in agreement with the respective study commission
- the appointment proposals and co-optations

The doctoral committee of the Faculty of Engineering decides on the admission as a doctoral candidate after the conclusion of the doctoral agreement; the admission as a doctoral candidate obligates the university to provide scientific supervision (§ 38 Abs. 5 Landeshochschulgesetz). The members of the committee cover the faculty in its breadth.

The habilitation conference is responsible for conducting the habilitation procedure. It is made up of all professors, university lecturers and private lecturers who belong to the faculty and work there full-time. It is chaired by the Dean.
